Take it to the next level...

Next level paddling starts here!

If you are like most paddlers, you spend 99% of your time paddling forward. At an average pace of over 40 strokes each minute, you take 2,500 or more strokes every hour. So even the smallest improvement makes a huge difference...

No matter where you want to go with SUP, continually advancing your skills and knowledge will increase your strength and endurance, expand your paddling horizons and help you have more fun! An effective and efficient forward stroke includes the ability to turn your paddle power up and down, adjusting your cadence and style to suit varying water conditions and paddling objectives.
Refining your footwork, movement and weighting on the board enables you to maximize board shape and hull design to your advantage for paddling in wind and waves, river currents and surf. Quick, stable pivot turns and paddle bracing are essential skills for all forms of advanced stand up paddling from catching surf waves, to rounding the buoy in race conditions, and quickly adjusting direction in response to swift moving currents in river running and white-water paddling.

Training - on and off the water - is another aspect of SUP performance. You may want to train for paddling, in preparation for race season, or for a special trip or event. Or you may want to use stand up paddling for training, as a way to stay fit or cross train for other sports. Either way our SUP performance program has something for you!
With some of the best and most experienced SUP instructors out there, Bearfoot SUP performance clinics are chocked full of advanced paddling knowledge and understanding, key principles and techniques, practice drills and exercises, and memory cues to take home with you! And we specialize in low instructor/student ratios ensuring that you get valuable personalized feedback and coaching.
Don’t stop now …where do YOU want to go from here? Let our amazing instructors, and SUP Performance programs, help you get there!
