“When we first conceived of this holiday, we hoped to learn a little and see a bit. Instead, with your skill and thoughtful, generous guidance, we have learned a lot and experienced Canada at its best.”
Whether you have previous SUP experience or not - If you have 3-4 hours, or 1 to 4 days on your vacation, and you want to see the Rockies from an amazing perspective, our SUP Vacation Touring program is for you.
Learn and improve your SUP touring skills while gaining invaluable touring experience and knowledge, get some great pictures, and make your next Rockies visit the trip of a lifetime!
Please note that the course does not include personal clothing or gear, food, or travel – please see our Gear and Clothing tab.
Course Cancellation: It is rare that we cancel a session due to weather considerations however we will do so if, in our judgement, the conditions are dangerous or are likely to present a poor learning environment.
Course Agenda and Curriculum…please note that course content depends on the number of sessions booked, and experience of the group coming. We tailor our specific curriculum to focus in on the skills that you need the most, and then progress as time and conditions permit.
TBA. Please note that specific course locations are group and weather dependent. Instructors make decisions on our touring locations based on group experience, weather and water conditions and safety as our first priority - See Map.
Course start time: 9am at the finalized course put-in location. Please arrive about 30 minutes early, so that you are unloaded, changed, and ready to begin at the start time. Arriving late will cut into your instructional time, and that of others on the course.
We suggest that you bring high energy snacks and drink with you, and a lunch. On cool days we especially recommend bringing a thermos with a hot drink.
